For Bookers
1. Explore the Map
Open Gigest and browse musicians on our interactive map. Filter by category — vocalists, guitarists, DJs, bands, and more. Zoom into your area to find artists near your event location.
2. Review Profiles
Click on any artist pin to see their profile: pricing, bio, instruments, availability, recommendations from other bookers, and social media links. Compare multiple artists to find the perfect fit.
3. Get in Touch
Send a message directly to the artist, or fill out a structured booking request with your event details, date, and budget. The artist will review your request and respond in their inbox.
For Musicians
1. Create Your Profile
Sign up for free and create your artist listing. Set your location on the map, choose your category, add your hourly rate, and write a compelling bio. You can create up to 3 separate listings (e.g., solo act + band).
2. Customize Your Page
Upload a profile picture and banner, add your instruments, education, features (like "own PA system"), service areas, and social media links. A complete profile attracts more bookings.
3. Receive Bookings
When a booker contacts you, you'll see it in your messages. Accept or decline booking requests, negotiate details in chat, and manage your availability calendar. You can also choose to only accept structured booking requests to avoid spam.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Gigest free?
Yes! Creating an account and listing your profile is completely free for both musicians and bookers. There are no commissions on bookings arranged through the platform.
How do payments work?
Gigest connects you directly with the artist. Payment terms are agreed upon between you and the musician — we don't handle payments or take a cut.
Can I list multiple acts?
Yes! Musicians can create up to 3 artist listings under one account. This is perfect if you perform solo and also play in a band.
