Rules for using Gigest

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Gigest, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

2. What Gigest Provides

Gigest is a marketplace that connects musicians with event organizers and bookers. We provide the platform for discovery and communication. We are not a party to any agreement between musicians and bookers, and we do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services offered by musicians.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use Gigest
  • One person may create only one user account
  • Artists may create up to 3 artist listings per account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Post false or misleading information in your profile
  • Use the messaging system to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures or access other users' accounts
  • Use automated tools to scrape data from the platform

5. Content and Profiles

You retain ownership of content you post (bio, images, descriptions). By posting content on Gigest, you grant us a license to display it on the platform. We may remove content that violates these terms.

6. Payments and Fees

Gigest is currently free to use. We do not charge commissions on bookings. Financial arrangements between musicians and bookers are made independently and are not our responsibility.

7. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed.

8. Limitation of Liability

Gigest is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any disputes between musicians and bookers, or for any damages arising from the use of our platform.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Gigest after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
